3 in custody, 2 still wanted in death of Bronx taxi driver

Three young people are currently incarcerated in connection with the death of Bronx taxi driver Qutin Guima.

Police say one of the three people currently indicted is a 15-year-old girl. She has been charged with gang rape and theft of services.

The other two charged are Austin Amos and Nicholas Porter, a 20-year-old man from Queens.

So far, Austin Amos is the only suspect facing manslaughter charges.

The group of five were seen on camera kicking and punching a taxi driver after he refused to pay the fare after driving to Far Rockaway in Queens. Towards the end of the altercation, one of the men punched Guima, causing Guima to fall backwards and hit his head on the ground.

Gima leaves behind his wife and four young children. His widow, Abigail, spoke out on Thursday to thank the community for their support, as the family received thousands of dollars in donations through GoFundMe and their church, His Methodist United Church of Ghana.

Police are looking for two other people in connection with the crime.
