An abandoned home being foreclosed in the village of Springdale may be subject to fines following a hearing held Friday before the Community Development District 4 Oversight Board.
Regarding the 9623 SE 171st Argyll St. home, Community Standards received a complaint on June 8th about overgrown grass and mold.
The house is owned by Leonard and Anne Biggers. He died and she moved out of state.


According to community standards, the house is foreclosed.
The board has given seven days to remove mold from your home. If not, the district will use its new authority to pressure wash homes and impose a fine of $150 per hour each time it is washed. impose a fine of $250 each time
The home was subject to public hearings in 2020. In that case, the fine was paid and the case was closed.
