Trenton — Thomas Edison State University partners with over 140 colleges and universities to partner with Amazon to expand career opportunities for the company’s 750,000 hourly employees.
Called “Career Choice,” the program is an educational benefit that helps employees learn new skills for a successful career at Amazon or elsewhere.

Amazon offers a variety of educational and upskilling opportunities, including full college tuition, industry certifications designed to lead to in-demand jobs, English proficiency, high school diplomas, and foundational skills such as the GED. . Career Choice allows Amazon employees to enroll in any of his Thomas Edison’s more than 100 areas of study and earn a degree entirely online. The university’s proximity to major Amazon fulfillment centers and its reputation as a leader in online education contributed to the partnership decision.
