Anne Heche According to her family, she died at the age of 53 after sustaining serious injuries in a flaming car accident in Los Angeles.
Heche was declared brain dead Thursday night, but remained on life support for organ donation and her heart was still beating.
Her representative told ABC News on Sunday night that she was peacefully released from life support.

The actress was driving when she crashed into a house in the Marvista neighborhood of Los Angeles on August 5, engulfing her car and home in flames, according to Los Angeles Police and Fire Department. Her pet was able to escape the blaze unharmed.
