Are you going to the US Open?Here’s everything you need to know about parking and transportation


The US Open will be held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Flushing. The region is gearing up for a tournament that runs from August 23rd to September 23rd. 11.

Thousands of spectators are expected, so if you plan to attend, please use the information and links below.

The US Open advises that taking public transportation is the best option for attending.

transportation

subway – The 7 train runs from Grand Central Terminal to Mets Willets Point station, including connections to all Metro-North trains from Westchester and Connecticut. Services are also available from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Click here for more information.
long island railroad – Service to Mets Willets Point Station is accessible from Woodside by transferring to the 7-Port Washington Line. New Jersey Transit passengers enjoy convenient connections from Penn Station. Disabled passengers should exit his LIRR train at 61st Street-Woodside station and transfer to Platform 7. Uber/rideshare/car service drop off – All rideshare providers, including black car services and other services (Uber, Lyft, etc.) can only access the area next to the New York State Pavilion. There is a boardwalk directly between the NY State Pavilion and the South Gate. A complimentary shuttle to and from the South Gate is available for guests with special needs.

driving – GPS address is USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Use either Grand Central Parkway exit 9E or Whitestone Expressway exit 13D or Long Island Expressway exit 22B – College Point Blvd. From there you will be directed to the parking lot by the NYPD. Paid parking lot

If there is a New York Mets home game (referred to as a conflict date – see below), guests will be directed to park in Blue Zone and Orange Zone parking as directed by NYPD and parking staff. In the absence of a New York Mets home game (known as a non-conflict day), a guest will be instructed to park in the Mets stadium parking lot, as directed by the NYPD, to the YELLOW ZONE PARKING and parking lot staff. Due to scheduling conflicts with the New York Mets, and anticipated traffic conditions, the US Open recommends that all participants use public transportation on their designated conflict dates. The dispute dates for 2022 are:

Tuesday, 8/30 – 7:10 PM
