Ashton Kutcher It tells of a rare medical diagnosis that changed his outlook on life.
In the next episode of National Geographic’s “Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge,” That 70’s Show Star revealed that he developed a rare autoimmune disease.
“Like two years ago, I had this strange and very rare form of vasculitis. It knocked out my sight, knocked out my hearing, knocked out all my sense of balance.
Kutcher, who is quite private when it comes to his personal life, explained that it took him about a year to regain his senses, adding that the incident really changed his view of his health.
“You don’t really appreciate it until it’s gone,” he said, adding, “Until you go, ‘I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to see it again.’ I will be able to walk again, but I don’t know if I will be able to walk again.”
“I’m lucky to be alive,” he said.
Kutcher also revealed that the terrifying event helped her see every challenge as an opportunity for life’s growth.

according to mayo clinic, vasculitis is inflammation of blood vessels that can reduce passageways and cause organ and tissue damage. There is currently no cure, but early detection and early treatment are effective.
