Bayer Leverkusen have agreed a one-season loan deal with Chelsea for winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Hudson-Odoi is scheduled to fly to Germany for medical treatment on Monday.
Twenty-four hours ago, the move was on the brink of collapse as Leverkusen wanted an extra option but Chelsea only wanted a straight loan. This is the first time the player has been loaned by a club.

The forward comes from Chelsea’s youth team and has scored 16 goals in 126 appearances since his first team debut in 2018, with two years remaining on his current contract.
He nearly joined Borussia Dortmund on loan last summer, only to be blocked by Chelsea on deadline day.
