Halverson is the Associate Director of Education Education for the Physician Assistant Studies Program. She holds a PhD in Pharmacy and a Master’s degree in Public Health from her UAMS. Halverson is also Director of the UAMS 12th Street Health & Wellness Center. This is a free, student-run clinic that provides an opportunity for UAMS students to learn about each other and learn from each other. She has expertise in interprofessional education and student-run clinics. Prior to joining the Physicians Assistant program, she was a Clinical Instructor in her Pharmacy Practice department at the UAMS College of Pharmacy.
McMillan is the director of the General Practice Dental Residency (GPR) program. She holds a PhD in Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and a BS in Biology from the University of Arkansas. McMillan completed her residency in 2016 and was in the first cohort of dental residents at UAMS. He joined the faculty as a Clinical Instructor, then Clinic Director, Assistant He was GPR Program Director, and now Program He is Director.
