Colombian designer Paris Rodriguez breaks the mold with her New York Fashion Week (NYFW) runway show, putting the spotlight on entrepreneurial women as models.
After dressing celebrities such as Becky G, Patti Cantu, Alejandra Ambrosi, Stephanie Salas and Maite Peroni, Paris Rodriguez invites five famous female entrepreneurs to deliver an empowering message on stage at NYFW.
“Each dress represents the emotions that entrepreneurs have to live day by day to realize the dreams they have in their hearts. We only have models with ongoing ventures. will be announced soon.My aim with this show is to inspire.Together with Libby Jones and her producer Erice Rosete for inviting us to this wonderful event, Art・I want to thank the fashion show,” the designer said in an official statement.
Born in the coffee-growing region of Colombia, the now US-based designer has had a significant career in the fashion industry, with a particular focus on the world of women’s clothing. She has received several awards from the international textile industry.
Paris Rodriguez’s work is characterized by a contemporary style, where the female figure is emphasized by carefully selected textiles and garments made of superior quality.
The design proposals she brought in exist in Dubai, Mexico, the United States, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, etc. The garment has been used in editorial articles for publications such as Harper’s BAZAAR, Elle, Maxim, L’Officiel, Cosmopolitan and Hola.
Now, her new project, “Emprende Hoy,” launched after Fashion Week, guides Latinos dreaming of entrepreneurship, shows them how to get capital, and her story of how she did it. I am trying to share my knowledge.
