Dodge City’s Boot Hill Casino prepares for sports betting to be legalized in Kansas

Dodge City, Kansas (KWCH) – No date yet, but legalized sports betting is coming to Kansas soon. Dodge City’s Boot Hill Casino is making plans for when sports betting is approved in the state.

Eyewitness News came to Dodge City on Wednesday to find out how the city’s popular casinos are gearing up to launch sports gambling. There’s a lot of action on the floor at Boot Hill Casino, so business is ready for more.

Commenting on the upcoming legalization of sports betting in Kansas, Boothill Casino and Resort Assistant Manager Ryan Deutsch said:

last week, The Kansas Racing and Gambling Commission has approved temporary regulations pending approval from the Kansas Attorney General.

“We look forward to hearing from the Kansas Lottery about some launch dates in the near future,” said Deutsch.

State lottery officials say they don’t want to fumble with this launch and make sure all the boxes are checked before betting starts. Early on is to start sports betting legalized in Kansas.

Boot Hill Casino has focused on the behind-the-scenes elements of sports betting. Our partnerships with DraftKings and Bally’s let you manage your bets through the casino or mobile app.

Deutsch said it is working on another partnership deal and plans to start building a physical sportsbook next month. He said it will have a temporary kiosk while its construction is underway. I have been asked questions.

“Can I bet on the Chiefs opening weekend?” “Can I bet on the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl?” Deutsch said.

All you need is the date.
