economy for workers, not for special interests or political ties

My name is Don Mastronaldi and I am the Republican nominee for the 142-state.nd A district representing Norwalk and New Canaan. I am running for office because the people of Connecticut deserve the leadership they believe their government should work for them. The people of this state deserve to put their personal finances ahead of those politically connected who continue to get generous freebies at the expense of taxpayers. We need leadership that understands that individual liberty and liberty are absolute, even in the midst of a pandemic. We need leadership that puts people’s needs ahead of ‘awakened’ ideologies that only divide for their own political gain. Most importantly, we need leadership that understands parental rights and that decisions affecting children’s schooling and health care decisions are the responsibility of parents, not politicians in this state. . The people of Norwalk deserve to have representatives who understand their hardships, understand their values, and don’t waste their tax dollars on special interests. We need representatives who have raised children in our schools and created private sector jobs in this city.

Making Connecticut Affordable

One-party rule of the state has led us down a path of economic ruin and bankruptcy. CT has her second highest outstanding debt per capita in the nation. Under the government of Hartford Democrats and Lucy Dathan, Connecticut has amassed her $94 billion in outstanding debt, with each taxpayer owing the government an average of $62,000. For what? While 300,000 of our fellow residents lost their jobs during the pandemic, government employees not only kept their jobs but also received bonuses and raises. This spring, I will receive an additional $3,500 “maintenance” bonus and will receive a 2.5% annual salary increase for the next four years. This will cost us, the taxpayers, another $1.9 billion over his four years. We are coming out of a pandemic that has devastated or closed CT businesses. What action did opponent Lucy Dathan think was the right thing to do when faced with double-digit inflation and he had more than $5 in gas?Income, sales, energy, and fixed income meaningful to residents Reject plans that offer property tax relief. She is a supporter of highway tolls and voted for a tax on trucks whose costs are passed on to consumers at higher grocery prices. She did nothing to help small businesses. Instead, she voted for more money to be paid by small businesses to fill the holes left by party lockdowns and business closures. I can’t just name. In her own campaign literature, the definition of a meaningful tax cut is the elimination of admission taxes on movie attendance, thanks Lucy. Everything she supports, everything she votes against will increase your cost of living. While she claims to be a moderate with residents appeal, her record is far-left liberal, constantly trying to replace the voice of her parents with that of a centralized government while keeping your wallet safe. or reaching for a purse.

We must make Connecticut attractive to residents and businesses by keeping government small and efficient. As a business owner and employer, I know firsthand the skyrocketing costs that residents and small businesses face to make ends meet. Promote lower sales taxes on goods and services. I work with businesses to reduce payroll taxes and insurance premiums, fight to lower property taxes, and ensure big developers don’t get special treatment just because they donate to a campaign. I will reduce the influence of state unions and the unfunded obligations that cost towns and taxpayers millions of dollars each year. I will fight to make my child’s tax credit permanent and my retirement savings tax-free. Most importantly, ensure that civil servants are compensated in the same way as private sector workers, not as privileged classes. I need to run my state like I run my own business. We find ways to reward those who work hard and create value, ignore special interests, and run our operations efficiently and reduce expenses to ensure long-term, sustainable success.

Norwalk needs leaders who live in Norwalk, have kids who go to school in Norwalk, and have started businesses in this community. I am the leader. Lucy only knows Norwalk as a politician. She is a disconnected outsider who has chosen never to live in this community. I will work with you and fight every day for your vote.
