Entertainment Lineup, 37th Annual Lyttelton Lake Gaston Festival | Arts Entertainment


The two-day event, Friday 2 September and Saturday 3 September, takes place at the traffic light at the intersection of Hwys 158 and 903 in Lyttelton and is packed with fun activities for the whole family.

Kicking off the event on Friday night at 7pm is the ‘Brake Time Band’. Grab a chair and dancing feet for a night of dancing at the town parking lot in downtown Lyttelton on Hwy 158. Food vendors and carnival rides start at 5pm.

Saturday’s entertainment line-up begins on stage at 10am and continues until 3pm. 11 am. G. Palmer Band (playing a variety of music); 1st Raffle Draw at 12:00 noon. 12:30 PM The G. Palmer Band will continue until 1:30 PM. 2:00pm – 3:00pm Open Mic (15 minutes for each performer) 3:00pm 2nd draw.

The Stray Cats Rod and Custom Show will be set up in the parking lot behind Truist and Futrell Pharmacy Services on Saturday, September 3rd.

Raffle winners will be drawn Saturday at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM (no need to be present to win). Tickets are available now from members of the Lyttelton Lions Club for a $1 donation each. Also available for purchase at the festival information booth on September 2nd and He is on the 3rd.

The Lyttelton Lions Club cooks 1,000 pounds of barbecue and sells it for $5 in sandwiches at the Pepsi booth on Friday nights. Also on Saturdays from 11am to 3pm, a plate containing coleslaw, potatoes he salad, and bread is $10 by the pound or he’s $10 for eat-in or take-out under the tent. Plus $10 for eat-in or take-out at Lion’s Den on Ransom Street.

Now in its 37th year, the festival continues to promote Lyttelton as a place to live and do business, offering two days of events for everyone to attend and enjoy.

The money raised will be donated to local organizations and Lion service projects.
