Truckee, Calif. — UB40, Original Wailers, Maxi Priest and Big Mountain are on sale for their 2022 Biga Bagga Riddim Tour next month at the Truckee River Regional Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Now on sale.
Advance tickets for the Thursday, September 22 event, hosted by Late Night Productions, are $65 and available at New Moon Natural Foods (Truckee and Tahoe City) Recycled Records (Reno) The Buttermuffin (South Lake Tahoe) or at Ticketweb.com. online. On the day of the show, the price increases by $10.
All ages are welcome and children aged 6 enter for free. The event has a festival-like feel complete with music, local vendors, food trucks, beer and wine, drinks, and live art.
UB40 is an English reggae and pop band formed in Birmingham, England in December 1978. The band has enjoyed considerable international success, with him having over 50 singles on the UK Singles Chart. They earned him four nominations for Best Reggae Album at the Grammy Awards and in 1984 he was nominated for Best British Group at the Brit Awards. UB40 worldwide he has sold over 70 million records.

Join the Truckee Pro Rodeo Association on Friday and Saturday, August 26-27 for a summer night filled with family-friendly rodeo events and performances, live music and western dancing.
Tickets for children under 5 are free, and advance tickets are $10 for ages 6-12. Adults are $15 in advance, and tickets are $5 higher at the gate on the day of the show.
The rodeo is held at the Macklebar Arena near Truckee River Regional Park, with gates opening at 4:30 PM on Fridays and 3:00 PM on Saturdays.

Events at the Slow Food Lake Tahoe Food Bank
Expand your horizons at Elevated Edible Gardens with Slow Food Lake Tahoe Food Bank on Saturday, August 27 from 9am-2pm.
Starting at the SFLT Food Bank Garden, the group meets inspiring gardeners of all skill levels as they venture through Truckee through food gardens of all shapes and sizes.
Participants leave their own garden ideas and resources to get it started.
At 10:30 AM, the group caravans to various gardens. Tickets are $10 per person, with scholarship options for kids and camps.

First Street Yoga at Palisades Tahoe
Jillian Raymond will be hosting her final free yoga class at The Village in Palisades Tahoe on Wednesday, August 31st at 5pm. Registration is not required for this event, but is on a first-come, first-served basis. No yoga mat required.
