Florida investor nears $500 million in Houston apartment deal

DLP Capitalis a real estate investment and financial services firm based in St. Augustine, Florida, which acquired Domain in Morgan’s Landing, a 350-unit multifamily home located at 3300 Bay Area Blvd. Located in La Porte, CityStreet Residential.The acquisition was made in partnership with Dallas-based Promotion of commercial investment groupBuilt on 18 acres in 2021, Morgan’s Landing Complex has 13 three-story buildings, including one- to three-bedroom units. Amenities include a pool with sundeck. Athletic club; cinema room; lounge with billiards, shuffleboard and poker table; pet park; beer garden with fire pit and grill station; DLP Capital has invested $480 million in multi-family homes in the Houston metropolitan area over the past 12 months.

VIV Real Estateis a Houston-based real estate firm founded in 2021 that has acquired its first Enview Square Apartments, a 135-unit property located at 123 Winkler Drive in southeast Houston. One of his principals at VIV, Richard Zigler, made the purchase considering its proximity to HEB, Home His Depot, and other stores in the Gulfgate Shopping Center. VIV intends to continue the upgrade program for units installed by previous owners. VIV partnered with his Texas Valley Group, a private real estate firm focused on Sunbelt multifamily properties, on the transaction.

West Woodland Business Park LLC Purchased 1.75 acres of Tomball Business and Technology Park, a 100-acre business park located on Holderieth Road and Hufsmith Kohrville Road just east of the Tomball Toll Road. Rob Banzhaf of Newcor Development represented the purchaser. Tom Condon Jr., principal of Colliers in The Woodlands, represented his Tomball Economic Development Corp., the seller. The park is almost 77% sold.

CAM process technology, a CAM Integrated Solutions entity, has completed the addition of a 55,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Brookshire, bringing the total to 140,000 square feet.
