As we reported last week, the Bark City BBQ Cart will be closing down next weekend after five years of operation. We’ve been missing Nacho’s Cajun-Mexican food since the business moved from Northeast Portland to West Lynn food carts. We’re back in Derby Kenton this weekend, serving up peach queso fresco salads, carnitas and grits, churros beignets and more. Stop by 8220 N Denver Ave between 6-10pm.

If you couldn’t stop by Soen’s pop-up this summer, add it to the top of your weekend must-see list. Every Friday through Monday, at Courier Coffee, find stunning kakigori made from fresh ice fluffed on a snow-covered mound, or Japanese shaved ice flavored with homemade syrup. Get the strawberry milk flavor filled with whipped cream. We also have delicious food. Last week, I ate Inari with shiso. Soen pops up at 923 SW Oak Street from 11:30am to 3:00pm.
