Gallery Philia presents exhibition at two Jean Nouvel Villas
Designed by architect Jean Nouvel, two stunning structures on the French Côte d’Azur are the dream setting for Galerie Philia’s Racine Ellienne exhibition (running through October 14). Villa Maeterlinck in Nice is carved directly into the rock and boasts rooms facing the sea. A few minutes away, Villa Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat blends into the landscape with its steel-framed glass roof. Both are cozy and modern with furnishings and objects such as hand-carved stone fire pits by Andrés Monnier, steel and sheepswool daybeds by Arnaud Declerc, and aluminum jigsaw chairs by Studio Julien Manaira.
