We are just one week away from Times Review Media Group’s inaugural Northfolk Wine & Food Classic on September 1st at Borghese Vineyard & Winery in Kutchogue.
The evening showcases the region’s wineries, breweries and restaurants, giving guests a taste of what the North Fork and East End have to offer within the grounds of Long Island’s first vineyard.
Participating restaurants include Ammirati’s of Love Lane, Caribbean Boys, Center Cuts, The Chequit, Grace & Grit, Insatiable Eats, Isola, North Fork Chocolate, North Fork Flour Shoppe, Oysterponds Shellfish, Piesans Pizza, Preston House, Rugged Jacks and Seaside. Grill, catering fork, halyard, treatery, village cheese shop.
Vineyards include Borghese Vineyards, Clovis Point Wines, Coffee Pot Cellars, Jamesport Vineyards, Macari Vineyards, Palmer Vineyards, Paummanok Vineyards, Peconic Bay Vineyards, Pellegrini Vineyards, Pinder Vineyards, Pugliese Vineyards, Sparkling Point Vineyards and Sannino Vineyards. Includes yards.
There are also local breweries such as Greenport Harbor Brewing Company, Eastern Front Brewing Company, North Fork Brewing Company, Peconic County Brewing, Take Two Brewery, Twin Fork Beer Company and Westhampton Beach Brewing Company. It’s a schedule. Montauk Distilling serves craft seltzer, The Giving Room serves fresh juices, and Campari serves cocktails.

Stephen McKenna, vice president of sales and events for The Times Review Media Group, said: “It’s like saving the best for the last, or end of summer. This is going to be an event that will last for years.”
A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Eastern Long Island Hospital Foundation and the upcoming Anne-Marie & Marco Borghese Scholarship Fund, which will benefit local high school students.
