Champaign, Illinois – The 2022 edition of Grange Grove, Illinois’ premier pre-game tailgate location will reopen with a full slate of entertainment planned for the season. Grange Grove offers the best of his Illini gear and apparel at free public tailgates, live music, kids zones, Busey Bank Illini Sports Network pre-game radio shows, and Gameday Spirit stores. Grange Grove opens at 7am each match day, with pre-match entertainment beginning three hours before kick-off.

- Sept. 22 — Chattanooga – Land of Pandas (Akron, OH) Funk, Reggae Rockers — From Prince and Jimi Hendrix to Bob Marley and The Scientist, don’t forget Frank Zappa, each band member will make their way to the Land of Pandas sound. various contributions.

- November 12 – Purdue – Filthy Janes (Danville, IL) Filthy Janes We bring you classic rock with its own upbeat, funky twist.they cover music Favorite from the 60’s to the 90’s.
Kids zone: In addition to live musical entertainment, Grange Grove hosts a weekly Kids’ Zone with interactive science experiences featuring inflatable games, face painting, balloon artists, and Gameday Genomics at the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology.
Pregame Radio Shows: Fans will be invited to the Busy Bank Illini Sports Network Illinois State Football pregame as Brian Bernhardt, Steve Kelly and Martin O’Donnell preview the day’s game and interview expert guests. You can listen to the radio show live at Grange Grove. The official network pre-game show kicks off an hour before kick-off with the WDWS local show hosted by Scott Beatty. The action on the radio show will be on air two hours before his kick.
Grunge Glove Tailgating: The Grange Grove will be open from 5pm to 7pm the night before each game so fans can set up tailgate items in advance. Tailgators can park and unload on the north side of the lot (Lot 36). Vehicles are prohibited in Grange Grove at any time. Students are guided to the north section and the general public to the south section.
Space will be limited to approximately 15ft x 15ft so that everyone can participate. Personal tailgate tents and awnings must be no larger than 10′ x 10′. Tailgating on sidewalks and walkways is prohibited and will not be powered. Security monitors the area overnight. However, items placed in lots are at the owner’s risk.
Hassle-free tailgating: Fans can now arrive at Memorial Stadium at the tailgate fully set up with tents, tables, chairs, optional catering, TVs and beverages. Tailgate Concierge offers four different tailgate sizes and price points, and tailgates can be reserved for the entire season and by game. The tailgate is located in Grange Grove and is the first option for placement before the general public has access to the area on the night before the game.
- Field goal – 1-10 tailgaters, 10×10 premium space
- Touchdown – 11-20 Tailgate, 10×20 Premium Space
- Safety – 21-34 tailgaters, 15×20 premium space
- Championship – 35-50 Tailgaiter, 20×25 Premium Space
- Groups of 50 or more can customize their tailgate at Lot 31, Grange Grove, or any other group area by purchasing 50 or more tickets.
