Hawaii Food Bank Holds Annual Food Drive Day on Oahu

The Hawaii Food Bank hosts its annual Food Drive Day on Saturday on Oahu.

Foodbanks encourage the public to collect food and monetary donations by Saturday, and will accept donations at drop-off sites in Kakaako, Kahala, Mililani, and Kaneohe from 8am to 2pm on Oahu. Drop-off sites are: Waterfront Plaza, Waiokeola Congregational Church, Mililani Town Center and Windward City Shopping Centre.

We also encourage the general public to participate by hosting food and fundraising events, donating, and purchasing Hawaii Food Bank t-shirts.

For over 30 years, Hawaii Food Bank has hosted its annual flagship fundraising event. As this is the first hybrid food drive day, donors can donate money to the virtual food drive campaign either by making a direct donation, through the Hawaii Food Bank website or by text donation.

Foodbanks report distributing more than 23.5 million pounds of food, including 5.3 million pounds of fresh produce, on Oahu and Kauai in 2021.
