High 5 Sports Recap – Week 4

Atlanta – History is being made and history is being rediscovered in week 4 of High 5 Sports, but none of these teams belong in a museum. At least not yet.

This is a week where many teams are on track with their treasure hunt to move forward, correct course, and finally get to the gold idol, ahem, and trophy without capsizing.

And this week, the War Eagle Bowl returns to make history. Woodward Academy’s Marist is this week’s Game of the Week.

River Ridge vs North Atlanta

The undefeated River Ridge Knights were in undefeated North Atlanta.

South Atlanta vs Lovejoy

The undefeated South Atlanta Hornets headed south to face Lovejoy.

Stockbridge vs Luella

Stockbridge’s visit to Luella heats up action in AAAA Region 5.

Parkview vs North Gwinnett – Call of the Week

The 680 The Fan Call of the Week is all about Gwinnett County. The North Gwinnett Bulldogs went to check out the new lawn in Parkview’s Big Orange Jungle. FOX 5’s Eli Jordan takes a picture, and 680 The Fans’ Karl Werl and Doug Konkel are on the phone.

Jefferson v. Oconee County

he’s back! Travis Noland left Oconee County for Jefferson this offseason. He brings the new dragon back to Watkinsville to confront Ben Hall, once in Jefferson and now in Oconee.

Hi 5 Hype 5 – Sammy Brown

Clark Central vs Gainesville

Gainesville’s City Park is one of the best places for high school football and was rocking for the undefeated Red Elephant against Clark Central.

Easthall vs Chesterty

The action in AAAA Region 8A heats up as East Hall moves to Chestatee.

Lithonia vs.Jackson Atlanta – Miked Up

Douglas vs Stone Mountain

Stone Mountain hosted Douglas.

Columbia vs. Cartersville

When Columbia came to Wineman Stadium, it was a battle between two undefeated teams in Cartersville. The Eagles go anywhere and play anyone.

Wesleyan vs Whitefield Academy – Friday Night Heights

The Wolfpack against the Wolves at Friday Night Heights this week.

Marist vs Woodward – Game of the Week

War Eagle Bowl! Both Marist and Woodward Academy are in the top 10 of the AAAAA group and know each other well. This is the 55th match between the two schools. This month, 100 years ago, it happened for the first time.

North Paulding vs South Paulding

It’s a big rivalry matchup in Paulding County as North Paulding descends on South Paulding. The Spartans are aiming for their first win against the Wolfpack.

East Paulding vs Paulding County

The Patriots filled the remaining quadrant in Paulding County to host East Paulding in the AAAAAA Region 5 matchup.

Temple vs Lumpkin County – Team of the Week

Lumpkin County was celebrated as an undefeated High 5 Sports Team of the Week this week, but will they be able to beat Temple 4-0?

Cambridge vs West Forsyth

The Cambridge Bears beat Alpharetta last week and are at West Forsyth this week.

Harrison vs Denmark

Harrison Hoyas travels to Denmark.
