New Jersey residents certainly don’t agree on everything, and the fact that the Garden State has some of the best food in the country isn’t one of them.

There is no doubt that New Jersey food is a source of pride for all who live here, but the recent ranking of American states by food is sure to cause controversy here.
The controversy does not stem from the fact that New Jersey did not perform well on the report. we actually did. Controversy arises from how well we did and how poorly we did.
The report was published by Far & Wide, and they probably thought they’d do us a favor by ranking us as the state with the eighth-best food in the nation. not so soon

We’re happy to be the 8th unfriendly, the 8th most crowded, or the 8th most expensive. That’s a higher ranking than we expected.
But when it comes to our food, it’s a whole different animal.
Any New Jersey resident will have no doubt that our food is the best. Even in 2nd place he is neither 3rd nor 8th.
This article discusses how we dominate the diner and pizza industry, but of course we can’t leave out fresh seafood where no one is better than us.
And I think our absolute Italian culinary dominance is not enough, both in quantity and quality.
So, while #8 is nothing to be ashamed of, here at Garden State we politely reject the #8 ranking and encourage reviewers to travel to the Jersey coast in the summer for waterfront fresh seafood and pasta. Please be kind. Everyone sits down, watches the evaluation go up as they digest, and waits for the tiramisu.
