
Yet another Cincinnati-area resident will appear on the Food Network’s “Guy’s Grocery Games.”
Heather Johnson, a full-time food blogger from Blanchester who writes under the name Food Hussy, will be one of four contestants on Wednesday night’s episode of the food competition show hosted by Guy Fieri. For Johnson, who has been blogging for 2010 and recently moved to a full-time job, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
“Standing in Flavortown was so surreal,” Johnson said. “I’ve been watching Guy since he won ‘(The Next) Food Network Star’…so to stand there and let him eat my food, I lost it.
Johnson started her blog with reviews of restaurants around Cincinnati, but has expanded over the years to include recipes, road trips, and do-it-yourself projects.

“Guy’s Grocery Games” typically have a chef running through a supermarket set, completing the challenge with three eliminations. However, Johnson and her fellow competitors were all home cooks and Fieri fans. rice field.
