Hollywood stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson were seen filming a movie in Montclair at Tierney’s Tavern, the popular local Irish bar that earned Best of America accolades this year, according to NJ Monthly.
The two stars were reportedly filming for the upcoming film ‘Song Sung Blue’ which is an adaptation of the 2008 documentary of the same name that is based on the true story of Mike and Claire Sardina, who formed the memorable Neil Diamond/Patsy Cline tribute band called Lightning & Thunder.
Song Sung Blue is written and directed by Craig Brewer.
This adds to a growing trend of New Jersey being a hub for filmmaking in recent years after Governor Phil Murphy’s celebrated reinstatement of tax incentives for film and television projects back in 2018.
