name: Lydia Jumonville

New title: Intermountain Healthcare Interim President and CEO

Previous title: President and CEO of SCL Health

As of Monday, Jumonville currently serves as Intermountain Healthcare’s interim leader after former chief executive Mark Harrison stepped down.

The health system has launched a nationwide search to find a permanent executive to lead the system, and plans to make a final decision this fall.

Jumonville previously led Colorado-based SCL Health. In April, SCL and Intermountain merged to create a $12 billion system, extending Intermountain’s reach to Colorado.

Since closing the transaction, Jumonville has worked to merge the two systems as an executive sponsor and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Health System.

Prior to his role as CEO of SCL, Jumonville served as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to SCL, he worked in Dallas as CFO for Baylor Health Care System, now known as Baylor Scott & White Health, following its merger with Scott & White Healthcare in 2013.

Jumonville serves on the boards of the Catholic Health Association and National Jewish Health. She has a degree from Louisiana State University and is a CPA.

Based in Utah, Intermountain operates 33 hospitals and hundreds of clinics in seven states, providing insurance to over one million people in Utah and Idaho.
