A brand new New Jersey restaurant is making it’s mark as a premier place to get delicious Italian cuisine as Amerigo, located in Berkley Heights, is the latest success from restaurant veterans and brothers Ilir and Mentor Bitici.
“We have a lot of familiar Italian-American dishes on the menu, mixed with some more upscale items,” Ilir Bitici said, according to NJ Advance Media. “You don’t really see baked ziti on restaurant menus, so we wanted to do it in a way that’s fits in with the rest of the menu while evoking a sense of nostalgia.”
The establishment offers areas such as a true nostalgic feel to their restaurant and their menu, with a 1940s Christofle cart is from the Bitici’s uncle’s restaurant in New York City and features a Faema Baby Milan E61 coffee machine that “pulls better espresso than any of the newer machines on the market.”
Traditional Italian-American fare with a solid vibe is keeping the people coming back to the latest hit in New Jersey.
