The 45-year-old rapper took to Instagram to speak candidly about the impact of his designs with his nearly 17 million followers.

The 45-year-old, who now uses the username Ye on Instagram, first launched the Yeezy brand in 2015.
At the time, West was partnering with Adidas to release its own line of Adidas Yeezy sneakers.
The brand has grown over the past seven years, with Kanye West debuting a number of collections at New York Fashion Week.
Earlier this year, West launched the highly anticipated collection at GAP with Balenciaga Creative Director Demna Gvasalia.

The rapper took part in a social media tirade this year against Pete Davidson, whom he called Skete.
After the post was uploaded on Kanye’s social media, Kim Kardashian was reportedly “furious” at her ex-husband who mocked their recent breakup.
While vigorously defending her ex-boyfriend, the reality TV star reportedly “tried to get Kanye to take it down.”
