What’s New – High temperatures and high humidity trigger heat alerts on Sundays and Mondays. Heat stroke warning today and tomorrow. In Nassau County, it’s close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit today and will feel over 100 degrees Fahrenheit tomorrow. A pop-up storm is more likely today.
What’s next – A storm is brewing, and hot and humid weather is expected through Tuesday. Heavy rains are possible with a few storms, but the drought may persist.
Sunday: fever alert sun and clouds. Rain and storms are possible between noon and 8 p.m., primarily in Nassau County, but most areas are dry. Highest in the late 80’s. Feels like mid to late 90’s.

Monday: Heat Warning – More sunshine just in the afternoon storm. Highs near 90. Heat index up to near 100F.



Tuesday: Heat Warning – Cloudy in the afternoon with a few storms. Highest close to 90.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with some storms expected. Not so hot, but still muggy. Highs in the late 80’s.
