Miami Heat point guard Gabe Vincent has been in offseason training for this season.
While most people in Miami are happy with his progress, teammate Jimmy Butler took note of Vincent’s shoe choices.
Butler trolled Vincent in an Instagram post.
“The season is over, get new shoes,” commented Butler.
Butler has been known to crack jokes with his teammates. Last season, he made an Instagram video of him doing impressions of then-Heat forward PJ Tucker. He also said that Duncan Robinson was “the stupidest teammate I ever played with”. These are just a few jabs Butler does on his teammates, but they’re all fun. His combination of tough love and humor has established him as one of the league’s most prominent figures.
Vincent continues his improvement in his fourth year with the Heat. Miami went 7-1 in the last postseason he was a starting point guard. Vincent filled the role during Kyle Lowry’s absence. He averaged 8 points, 3.1 assists and 1.9 rebounds.

Vincent put in a number of impressive offensive performances, including scoring 17 points against the Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. He was also effective on the defensive side, earning praise for shutting down Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young in the first round of the playoffs.
