MIG Real Estate Adds Doubletree Breckenridge to Growing Portfolio


MIG Real Estate LLC (MIG), a national real estate investment firm headquartered in Newport Beach, California, has purchased DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Breckenridge from Vail Resorts.

DoubleTree Breckenridge is ideally located at 550 Village Road in Breckenridge, at the foot of Peak 9 in the Breckenridge Resort and within walking distance of the Breckenridge Historic District. MIG has selected Vail Resorts Hospitality to manage and operate the property.

MIG Real Estate Hotel Acquisition Manager Kyle Halbrook said: “This property is an exciting addition to his MIG’s growing portfolio of hotels located in highly attractive and leisure-oriented markets with a strong operating base.”

The Breckenridge property joins other MIG-owned hotels in key destinations such as Jackson, Wyoming, Sedona, Arizona and San Diego.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Breckenridge was built in 1985 and offers 208 guest rooms with approximately 8,500 square feet of meeting space. On-site amenities include underground parking, fitness center, outdoor hot tub, recreational equipment storage, Breck Sports, rentals and retail. Convenience store maid market. 9600 Kitchen is a casual, modern restaurant serving traditional American cuisine from local farms and ranches.

MIG plans to relocate the property over the next year for year-round resort activities with curated amenities, fine dining and equipment rentals for a variety of mountain activities.

MIG’s hotel portfolio currently includes 18 hotels located in California, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Alberta, Canada.
