Trains, buses and interchange stations in New Jersey are covered in ads from betting operators such as William Hill, Kindred Group’s Unibet, and MGM Resorts International offering up to $500 free play to new customers. DraftKings also has an office in Hoboken, while Australian company PointsBet Holdings Pty has a store in neighboring Jersey City.
FanDuel of Flutter Entertainment Plc, which has emerged as a leader in sports betting in New Jersey, says about 22% of its mobile bettors are New York residents.
