Calling all foodies!
The Northern New Jersey Empanada Festival takes place Saturday in Passaic County.
Hosted by Passaic County, Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc., and Megabyte Events, the festival takes place at Weasel Brook Park in Clifton from 11am to 7pm.
The event will also feature the coronation of the “Northern New Jersey Empanada Champion”.
MegaBite Events founder Howard Rosenblatt said in a statement: “At this inaugural event, he wins the empanada champion of Northern New Jersey.”
About 20 food trucks are expected to participate in the event. In addition to the food, there will be live music, extreme racing remote racetracks, extreme bubble balls, Jersey Shore game trailers, craft vendors, henna tattoo artists and more.
“This is a great opportunity for families and empanada lovers to explore Weasel Brook Park while enjoying great food,” said Passaic County Commissioner, a member of Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc. since its inception in 2010. said John Bartlett of , Said. “This is just one of the many programs he enjoys at Passaic County parks throughout the year.”
Advance tickets for this event are $6 for adults and $4 for children ages 4-13. On the day of the event, tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 4-13. Children under the age of 4 are free.
