PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The baseball greats who won Philadelphia’s first World Series are back in South Philadelphia for a reunion weekend festivities. This will be the first time Pete Rose will be on the field at Citizens Bank Park since being kicked out of Major League Baseball.
The Wall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, followed by a pre-game ceremony honoring the 1980 World Series champions on Sunday.

Former General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr. discusses his time as a batboy for the Phillies in the ’80s and how these players helped shape his career.
Amaro Jr. is currently a color commentator for the Phillies.

Phillies announcer Dan Baker also celebrated the milestone. He’s been at Mike for 50 years.
“My dad as a first base coach and I was around that team for me when I was 15. That was the real reason I wanted to be a Major League Baseball player, I was around all the iconic players,” said Amaro Jr. .
