LATROBE, Pa. — Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin’s daily injury report update features some bad news ahead of this weekend’s preseason Week 2 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. was doing.
Tomlin reported that defender Isaiahh Loudermilk left practice early after sustaining a rib injury. The severity of his illness is unknown.
“I couldn’t finish the louder milk [practice] Because of some kind of rib injury,” Tomlin said. “He is being evaluated now.”
Loudermilk, entering his second year as a pro, appeared in the Steelers’ preseason game against Seattle last week and recorded a pass defense in limited action.
Tomlin did not provide further updates to the injured list, but only said there was no setback for players who were injured and working to return to full participation.
