VA New Jersey Healthcare System psychology internship training program PhD in Health Services Psychology. Founded in the 1970s, the program, which offers his one-year supervised training, was recertified in 2018 by the American Psychological Association for his ten years.
The program is a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) and participates in an annual national matching program.

Psychology Postdoctoral Training Program
The VA New Jersey Healthcare System offers advanced clinical training in health service psychology. Psychology Postdoctoral Training ProgramThe program was developed in 2014 and received its first full 10-year accreditation by the American Psychological Association in 2018. It is currently his only APA-accredited postdoctoral training program in New Jersey.
This program provides advanced professional training in areas related to mental health and clinical health psychology/behavioral medicine. This program is a member of his APPIC and strictly follows his APPIC guidelines for applying for postdoctoral training. Applications for the program must be submitted through APPIC’s APPA CAS system.
