Rhonda’s Kiss ‘Legacy of Love’ gala will take place on September 7, 2022 in Manhattan, New York at the newly opened hotel and members club The Ned NoMad, led by Richie Akiva, ahead of New York Fashion Week. Ronda’s Kiss has partnered with Maimonides Health to host the annual New York Gala since 2016. The ‘Legacy of Love’ Gala will be chaired by Executive Chairman Mark Stefanski, and Film Producer/Actor Kyle Stefanski. Executive Director of Rhonda’s Kiss, Filmmaker/Actor Danny A. Abeckaser, Global Hospitality Entrepreneur Richie Akiva, Film Producer Eustace Montgomery Hicks, Midtown Equities President Michael Cayre.

Rhonda Stefanski, Avner Abekather, Sean Legroot, and others who lost their battles with cancer will pay tribute to both their loved ones and loving memories. The Gala honors their legacy with these special commemorative tributes from the Legacy of Love Gala and Chair Members. Legacy of Love’s host committee includes Emile Hirsch, John Powers Middleton, Bryan Greenberg, Peter Facinelli, Robert Davey, Eitan Rockaway, Ali Lasky, Hessy Augenbaum, Jas Includes scale. Special awards include a Leadership Award to Paul Scialla, co-founder and CEO of Delos, a New York-based wellness real estate and technology company.

Proceeds from Rhonda’s Kiss ‘Legacy of Love’ Gala will support nonmedical services and fund patient care programs at the award-winning Maimonides Cancer Center in Brooklyn. Funding needs include lymphedema/compression DME, which most insurance does not cover. Rent and mortgage payments, child care, transportation to and from treatment, ambulance transfers for patients who need bed-to-bed transfers, wigs, groceries, household items, parking, utility bills, holistic Education on therapy, home health care assistance, how to access telemedicine/virtual support groups, incontinence supplies, etc. This is all part of a patient care program funded by Rhonda’s Kiss.

The evening kicks off with musical acts including guest performances throughout the night highlighted by red carpet, live jazz bands, silent and live auctions, video tributes, presentations, award honors and more. It will feature renowned violinist Demora, as well as high-profile DJ sets from Jas Suke and Pookie.

The evening will feature The Ned NoMad’s signature craft cocktails and delicious cuisine from The Ned NoMad’s acclaimed Executive Chef Brian VanderGast. The Pinot Project of El Cristiano Ultra Premium Tequila, Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Skurnik Wines are supporters of this year’s Gala, Zero Cost Fundraising and more.
