Richard “Dick” Moss Run’s Carl Biel, 90, died Friday, August 19, 2022 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on his November 21, 1931, in Moslan, Ohio, to the late Delbert his Karl and Martha Eddy his beer.

A member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Church, Dick owned and operated Biehl’s General Store until it closed in 1993. He served on the board for 20 years and his favorite teams were Boston, he was the Celtics, St. Louis, he was the Cardinals, Cleveland, he enjoyed watching sports and listening to the radio as a kid. Dick always enjoyed a good card game, especially Euchre.

He is survived by his wife Martha Zimmerman Beale, daughters Lisa Almond (Bobby) and Penny Beale, grandchildren Daniel Dodridge (Troy), Jarrett and Chase Almond, sister Joan Rose, and several nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his sister Gladys Thomas and brothers Duane, Cecil, and James Beale.

A service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 1021 Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, Pike Street, Marietta, Ohio by Reverend Randy Beale. Burial following Moslan Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
