Copenhagen-based fashion label ROTATE dives into the world of Web3 with the launch of the first-ever NFT and digital garments.
The first release will be in time for Copenhagen Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2023 season, scheduled for August 8-12. The announcement highlights ROTATE’s signature THERESA dress, transformed into a virtual garment that can be worn via Snapchat’s Augmented Reality (AR). Staying true to the Danish brand’s DNA, the maximalist design will be reinterpreted for viewers and followers to try on the dress immediately after his SS23 show on August 11th.
In addition to launching as an AR experience, THERESA dresses will drop as a series of NFTs exclusively via THE DEMATERIALISED. Decorate the opening of the digital verse “ROTAT3” in collaboration with MOJOMOTO.
Take a sneak peek at the THERESA dress above. Priced at €800 (approximately US$817), the ROTAT3 Physical Garment is his one-off product with an AR experience that comes with a .mp4 animated collection and a limited edition physical THERESA dress. The ROTAT3 Digital NFT is priced at €80 (approximately 82 USD) and offers membership benefits such as early access to future releases from ROTATE.
Keep an eye out for ROTATE’s SS23 collection and the announcement of the “ROTAT3” verse on August 11th.
