Selena Gomez is quitting Hollywood to become a mom.
The 30-year-old actress and singer has revealed plans to finally “peace” out of her showbiz life and devote more time to philanthropy and raising her children.
On the “Giving Back Generation” podcast, she said, “I want to get married and be a mother.
“Eventually, I will get tired of all this, and I will dedicate most of my life to charity work before I find peace.”
And Selena revealed that her 8-year-old half-sister Gracie Teefey wanted her to have a child of her own.
“She puts things in perspective. I basically got to see this little person grow into a human being. There is no better feeling in the world. I don’t , in some ways feels like a parent.
“It’s so rewarding just to see how life was so simple at one point. I want to enjoy life as much as she enjoys it.”
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Selena is in talks to produce a reboot of the classic 1980s romantic comedy “Working Girl.”
The ‘Only Murders in the Building’ star is in final talks to revive the 1988 Mike Nichols film starring Melanie Griffith, Harrison Ford and Sigourney Weaver, according to Deadline. .
The critically acclaimed blockbuster tells the story of secretary Tess McGill (Melanie Griffith), whose boss stole her idea, but then she pretended to be doing his boss’ job to steal it.
The script is adapted by Ilana Pena, known for her work on Disney+’s Diary of a Future President.
It is reported that the reboot may be released on Hulu.
At the time of writing, it has no director or cast attached.
It’s unclear if the 30-year-old singer and actress will take part in the film as well as producing it.
