Last month, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) director Isabella Casillas Guzman met with Rep. Andy Kim, a member of the House Small Business Committee, for her first in-person visit to New Jersey. Joined the officers of the ship.
Guzman and Kim held a full small business roundtable at Olga’s Diner in Marlton. Guzman cited the American Rescue Plan to help small businesses in the country. The plan will provide emergency grants, loans and investments to hard-hit small businesses to rehire and retain workers and buy the health and sanitation equipment they need to keep them safe. make it possible.
“Thanks to the American Bailout Plan and the actions of the Biden-Harris administration,” she said. “New Jersey and communities across the country experienced a historic economic recovery with record job growth and the creation of small businesses.”
Guzman said continuing to support small businesses remains a major concern for her and Kim. She also said she will continue to support local businesses as they are essential to improving the country’s economy.

The roundtable highlighted the positive impact that President Biden’s America Relief Plan Act has had on local economies, with federal officials working with local small business owners, small business community leaders, and local community leaders. We had a conversation at the store.
Several attendees shared their stories with a particular focus on recovering from the pandemic thanks to government resources.
Rep. Kim emphasized the importance of small businesses in the Garden State.
“Small businesses are the lifeblood of the New Jersey economy,” he said. “As the sole member of the New Jersey delegation to the Small Business Commission, I have worked hard to become an advocate for small businesses. It also includes helping them survive in the midst of the crisis, identifying opportunities for growth and reducing bureaucratic red tape.”
Kim thanked Guzman for attending the Olga’s Diner roundtable and hearing first-hand from local small business owners.
“I want to thank SBA Administrator Guzman for joining Burlington County and hearing directly from small business leaders in our community about their frustrations, aspirations, and needs,” Kim added.
