
Troy’s Somerset Collection will be the venue for the new Sports & Social Draft Kings this fall, the companies announced Monday.
Location announcements will come over a year after DraftKings and Live! Hospitality & Entertainment company Sports & Social has announced that it will bring the concept to Metro Detroit. Sports and Social has stores all over the country, but this is the first domestic store for the collaboration brand.
Michael Kibort, senior director of retail sportsbooks at DraftKings, said in a news release: “Thanks to the strong support of Live! Hospitality & Entertainment, we are confident that we have created a premier dining, sports and entertainment destination for our fans to enjoy.”
The Troy venue has a restaurant, full bar and entertainment for customers. A 32-foot LED media wall and Gameday Watch Party show live coverage of multiple sports. Guests can access his DraftKings mobile platform for fantasy sports and bet from his mobile device on a variety of sports including football, basketball, baseball and golf.

According to a news release, the menu will feature “upscale” items including made-from-scratch game-day favorites, cocktails, specialty drinks, and local favorite beers.
Special food and beverage events are held throughout the week. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday.

The 10,400-square-foot space will house the DraftKings lounge for private parties and events, according to a news release. Live music and entertainment are scheduled several times a week. The spot also hosts a variety of games, including skiball, hoops, Beirut, foosball, shufflepuck, and arcade games.
The Troy venue is a separate building adjacent to Somerset Collection South. There is also outdoor patio dining that is dog friendly and has live music.
