Kristin Curatolo Franz Shares More About Coach Hutch On this GoFundMe page:
“He has served the New Jersey sports community for more than 50 years in basketball, track and field, and cross country. He is currently the assistant coach of men’s basketball at Stockton University. He had a massive heart attack and had to have both his legs amputated below the knee.”
Hutch and his wife, Janet, were still dealing with the destruction of their shared home in last year’s fire, the campaign said.
“He has inspired many with his fun-loving sense of humor, compassionate coaching, mentorship, and loyalty,” Franz wrote.
