Darryl Green, a meteorologist on the Storm Watch team, said Thursday temperatures will return to the 80s over the weekend before humidity returns early next week.
Hurricane Earl is expected to become a major hurricane later this week and move southeast of Bermuda. No direct impact to our area other than big swells/waves. Waves up to 4-5 feet are possible all weekend. The high risk of rip currents will continue into Thursday evening.
