Suspect wanted in chain of food truck robberies


Houston, TX (KWTX) – The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs help from the public to identify those responsible for a string of aggravated robberies at food trucks.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. on August 13, the complainant was working at a food truck on the 600 block of West Gulf Bank when he heard gunshots and an unknown man entered the truck with a shotgun. , asked the cashier for money.

The complainant complied and gave the suspect cash. The suspect then fled without a trace.

The suspect is a Hispanic male, between the ages of 18 and 24, with an uncovered face and armed with a severed black shotgun.

The suspect is believed to be involved in at least a dozen food truck robberies at:

  • August 9, 2800 West Mount Houston Road
  • August 10th, 8610 Block on Irvington Blvd.
  • August 10, at 8430 Block on Fulton Street.
  • August 10 at Block 8930 on the North Freeway.
  • August 11th at 7712 Block, W. Little York.
  • August 12th at Block 4109 of Cedar Hill Lame.
  • August 13th at Block 609 on W. Gulf Bank Road.
  • On August 15, at the 2800 block of W. Mount Houston Road.
  • August 17th at Block 522 on East Little York Road.
  • August 17 at the 9550 block of Airline Drive.
  • August 19 at Block 8930 on the North Freeway.
  • August 21st at Block 10798 on Shady Lane.
