TD Bank robbers still on the run after final strike in Bronx

The infamous TD bank robbery is still on the run almost two weeks after police announced their last robbery in the Bronx.

Security is expected to be more vigilant with the ongoing string of robberies, but some customers are concerned that security isn’t good enough.

According to police, five TD Bank locations were targeted and attacked in the Bronx between July 15 and August 4.

In both robberies, the suspect threatened the teller with a gun and demanded cash, but no gun was seen, police said.

TD Bank’s Williamsbridge Road branch is currently unharmed and TD Bank issued the following statement:

“When a robbery occurs, we work closely with law enforcement, as we do in the Bronx. We hold our security guards stationed at our locations to a high standard and they use mobile phones to receive security alerts, robbery suspect photos and updates is needed.”
