The 75-year-old Redmond Buckaroo Breakfast returns to the fairgrounds in traditional hearty fashion.

REDMOND, Oregon (KTVZ) — After a two-year absence, Redmond residents are having a hearty Buckaroo breakfast starting at 6 a.m. to kick off the fifth and final day of the 102nd Annual Deschutes County Fair. I was in line early Sunday morning to ask.

The four-hour event was held just north of the County Fair’s main entrance, where dozens of people enjoyed a fire-cooked meal.

The family sat at a picnic table enjoying bacon, eggs, sausage, hash browns, beverages, and the traditional favorite, bread rolls.

We even got to listen to live music while having a hearty breakfast before soaking up the final day of the Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo.

NewsChannel 21’s Kelsey McGee joined the crowd to see why it’s so popular. Her report airs on her NewsChannel 21 at Six.
