The festival also offered daily free kids inflatables, daily food truck contests, food eating challenges on Fridays, corgi races on Saturdays, and other vendors.
The bacon challenge was held on Sunday.

Since its first event in Fargo, Schmitz’s festival has expanded statewide with similar food truck events in Grand Forks, Bismarck and this year in Watford City throughout the summer.

During the festival, volunteers from TNT Kid’s Fitness & Gymnastics ran pop and water stands to earn extra money for their programs and growth. Half of the proceeds from Schmitz’s drink booth were donated to gymnastics groups along with tips.
