Ian Somherhalder says moving to Nikki Reed’s farm was “magic”.
The wife of a 43-year-old actor and a 34-year-old actress has decided to leave Hollywood behind and move with their five-year-old daughter, Bodhi Soleil, to a farm outside Los Angeles.
He said to the people: “[It’s been] magic. That’s really how it should have always been. There are many people who used to work in corporate offices now, and I think you can see that from a social perspective as well. People are having a really hard time getting back to work.
“People have noticed that their time and the value of their time and the value proposition of their time have changed a little bit. They participate more actively, get outdoors more and spend more time with each other.”
Ian also revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic has made him and Nicki realize what’s important.
“I think what the pandemic has brought to us has taught us that moments matter. Birthdays matter. Holidays matter. These little grainy moments with each other really do matter.” But that’s why Nikki and I think it’s rural and even urban/rural lifestyle — whether it’s permaculture or creating food forests, I think a lot of people are adopting — me We’re past the point where we’re thinking of doing away with all this by going plastic straw-free and driving electric cars.
