UNLV Athletics to Broadcast on New Broadcast Channel on Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network, FOX5


UNLV Athletics has a new home on television as FOX5 unveiled the new Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network (SSSEN), the athletics division, Learfield and KVVU FOX5 today.

More than 100 Rebel contests will be televised across multiple sports programs during the 2022-2023 track and field season. The network airs on Broadcast Channel 5.2 in Las Vegas and Cox Channel 125 on cable. Selected television broadcasts to be broadcast on SSSEN will be Mountain West Network broadcasts originating from UNLV.

SSSEN is dedicated to local sports and action-packed content and this partnership is the first between UNLV and a local broadcaster.

“SSSEN will continue what FOX5 started: delivering live, local Las Vegas content to the community,” said Korr. “The addition of the Silver State Sports & Entertainment Network allows us to expand our coverage with a platform dedicated to the sports that this city loves.”

The partnership will further put UNLV Athletics in the spotlight and expand access to sports programming previously unexposed on broadcast television.

“UNLV Athletics is now expanding its reach in the Las Vegas area, promoting teams, athletes and their incredible achievements throughout the season,” said Dolby.
