Focus Features released the trailer for Wes Anderson’s upcoming comedy movie, Asteroid City. Asteroid City is set in a fictional American desert town in the 1950s.

Anderson’s Netflix-backed The Great Story of Henry Sugar, based on the book by Roald Dahl, is also set to premiere in 2023.
‘Asteroid City’ was written by Anderson and Roman Coppola, who has worked with the director on films such as ‘French Dispatch’, ‘Isle of Dogs’, ‘Darjeeling Limited’ and ‘Moonrise Kingdom’. Anderson produced the film alongside his longtime collaborators Jeremy Dawson and Indian Paintbrush’s Steven Lares. Jon Peet and Octavia Paysel co-produced the film with executive producers Christoph Fisser and Henning Molfenter.
“Asteroid City” will have a limited theatrical release on June 16th and will expand further on June 23rd. The film will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
