College football season is finally upon us. Saturday’s week 0 slate is an appetizer for the 2022 campaign. Four of his 11 games with teams in the Football Bowl Subdivision in week 0 will be televised on CBS Sports Network, with some times extended into Sunday morning for viewers in his zone. A full-day viewing experience takes place.
The action kicks off at noon ET when the FBS season kicks off in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Western Kentucky is hosted by Austin Pea. UNLV then kicks off his third year in Marcus’ Arroyo era by hosting Idaho State University at 3:30pm, with his FBS vs. FBS showdown on the night slate .
Conference USA teams Charlotte and Florida Atlantic are wasting no time in hyping up league play as they face off in Boca Raton at 7 p.m. in a battle of teams looking to bounce back from seasons 5-7. Finally, Nightcap pits his SEC team against a program in transition when Vanderbilt plays in Hawaii at 10:30 p.m. kickoff. The Commodores hopefully have shaken off the jet lag of a long flight as they face Rainbow and his Warriors team playing the first game under new coach and program great Timmy Chan.
